In the last two months, the project has successfully moved from laboratory prototypes to real-world industrial validation at KLEEMANN and Aernnova Aerospace.
Industrial Integration: Final Demonstrator at KLEEMANN
During March, partners Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems and Automation (LMS) and Teaching Factory Competence Center (TFCC) achieved a major milestone by transferring the final demonstrator to the KLEEMANN factory.
This phase focuses on integrating advanced manufacturing technologies into a live production environment:
- Module Testing: The team has successfully tested the majority of the equipment modules.
- Experimental Success: We completed the first round of experimental tests on the integrated system.
By deploying these solutions in a real industrial setting, MASTERLY is demonstrating how smarter processes can significantly improve factory efficiency.
Key Takeaway: Moving technologies from the lab to the factory floor is an essential step in proving the scalability of our manufacturing solutions.
Aerospace Validation: Successful Prototyping with Aernnova
In April, the momentum shifted to the aerospace sector. Partners Tekniker and Cranfield University completed the final validation testing of prototypes at Aernnova Aerospace’s premises.
This testing phase represents a significant breakthrough for the project’s aerospace use case:
- Technology Validation: The prototypes were rigorously tested to meet the high standards of the aerospace industry.
- Smarter Solutions: These tests pave the way for more efficient manufacturing operations in complex industrial environments.
Step by step, MASTERLY is proving that advanced manufacturing technologies are ready to support the next generation of industrial operations. By validating our prototypes in diverse sectors—from heavy industry to aerospace—we are ensuring that our results are robust, scalable, and ready for the market.
