In this news we are presenting with a short interview one of MASTERLY’s use cases.

Which is the core activity of your company? 

KLEEMANN is one of the major lift companies in the European and global market. Having developed massive experience in the field of lift manufacturing since 1983, KLEEMANN has local production facilities in Greece as well as in Serbia and China.  

Which application is mainly addressed in the MASTERLY project?

The developed technologies of MASTERLY will be tested at KLEEMANN’s electronics shopfloor. An AGV enhanced with the installation of a low payload collaborative arm, will collaborate with a human operator, in order to automate the intra-shopfloor logistics and assembly operations of the electrical cabinet. 

Which activities do you expect to carry out in the MASTERLY project? 

The results from the experiments that will be conducted, as well as the datasets that will be generated are expected to potentially be used for testing, evaluation and validation from KLEEMANN’s dedicated evaluation team. Validation of technical and human-factor KPIs will be done by demonstrating the effectiveness in terms of performances, costs and ability to improve workers conditions. 

Which progresses and improvement do you foresee for your company thanks to the MASTERLY project?

KLEEMANN’s first target is to reduce the estimated cycle time for completing the assembly process and to reduce the number of quality issues per month, as well.
