The General Assembly of the MASTERLY project has successfully concluded in Maddaloni (Caserta, Italy), generously hosted at the advanced logistics facility of Decathlon Production Italia.

This meeting marked a pivotal milestone for the consortium, as partners gathered to consolidate the final outcomes of a intense 42-month journey. Over the past three and a half years, the project has brought together industrial partners, research centers, and universities from across Europe with a single, shared goal: advancing innovative solutions for flexible and intelligent robotics.

A Synergy of Innovation and Logistics

The consortium extends a special thank you to Decathlon for the warm hospitality and for welcoming the partners to a location that perfectly embodies innovation in logistics and automation. Seeing the facility provided an excellent backdrop for the final discussions on real-world deployment, scalability, and the technical validation of MASTERLY’s mobile manipulators within high-turnover warehousing environments.

The Power of Collaboration

The true strength of MASTERLY throughout its lifecycle has been the deep collaborative spirit shared among all partners. By merging complementary expertise, fostering continuous cross-border exchange, and pursuing a common vision, the consortium has successfully achieved meaningful results and major advances in the field of flexible robotics for modern manufacturing and logistics applications.

As the project approaches its final review with the European Commission, the legacy of these technologies will continue to pave the way toward a safer, more resilient, and human-centric Industry 5.0 ecosystem in Europe.
